Los Angeles, CA, August 20, 2010 -- There is something—or someone—in the air at the Ford Amphitheatre. TROUPE VERTIGO's newest show astounds the eyes and ears with gravity-defying acts set to rock band beats. Directors Aloysia Gavre and Rex Camphuis have invited L.A. band NIGHTMARE & THE CAT to join the evening's magical mix of acrobatics, dance, music and theater. Musical daredevils NIGHTMARE & THE CAT will perform a live soundtrack for TROUPE VERTIGO's talented circus performers—creating a thrilling and unique night of big-top adventure for a new generation. This original new production will feature twelve world class circus performers including celebrated Mongolian contortionist Gana Ganchimeg, trapeze artist Kerren McKeeman from “O,” hula hoop expert Viktoria Grimmy, fire staff acrobat Simon Chaban and a special performance by Artistic Director Aloysia Gavre, formerly of “Quidam" and “O,” on aerial hoop.
